2 cans cresent rolls
2 large granny smith apples
2 sticks butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 can (12 oz) Mountain Dew
cinnamon to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 inch pan. Peel, core and cut each apple into 8 slices. Open rolls, separate, wrap a piece of dough around each apple slice. Place face down into greased pan.

In medium sauce pan, melt butter and sugar, stirring until mixed well. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour batter mixture over dumplings. Sprinkle dumplings with cinnamon. Pour Mountain Dew around the edge of the pan. Bake 40 minutes uncovered.
