1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
5 T. sour milk
1/2 tsp. soda (dissolved in milk)
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 or 3 large mashed bananas
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans

Directions:

Mix ingredients together. Put in loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
