2 pkgs. (8 oz.) bakers German chocolate or large chunk milk chocolate
2 c. butter or 1/2 c. butter and 1/2 c. margarine
2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
4 1/2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. unsifted flour
3 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. chopped nuts
2 2/3 c. flake coconut

Directions:

Cut each square chocolate in small pieces or chunks. Set aside. Cream butter and sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Blend in flour, soda, salt. Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts and coconut. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 375º and cook 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown.
