2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
3 Tbls melted shortening or salad oil
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup broken walnut meats

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, gradually add sugar, mix thoroughly.
Add milk and shortening.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Add to liquid mixture and stir only until bended.
Carefully fold in blueberries and walnuts.
Pour into greased 5x12 inch loaf pan and bake at 350º for 50 to 60 minutes.
