1c. ground pecans
1c. butter
1c. light brown sugar
12oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:

Butter bottom only of 9x13 pan. Sprinkle pecans evenly in pan; set aside. In medium saucepan, over low heat, melt butter; stir in brown sugar. Cook over medium-low heat until candy thermometer reaches 300º. Pour mixture over pecans in pan; spread out. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and spread them out as they melt. Let cool for several hours, lift out of pan and break into bite-sized pieces. Store in refrigerator in a covered container.
