3 c. chicken, cooked and diced
2 1/4 c. (7 oz) small shell pasta, uncooked
2 (10 oz) cans of cream of mushroom soup
2 c. chicken broth
1 small onion, diced
1 (4oz) can of mushrooms with stems
1/2 c. celery, diced
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1 can of water chestnuts
1 c. of cheddar cheese
1/2 c. miracle whip

Mix all ingredients together and place in a 9x13 baking dish. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight. Before placing in oven add cheese or crushed corn flakes on top of casserole. Bake at 350F for 1 1/2 hours.
