1 lb. brown sugar
1 lb. flour
4 eggs
3/4 lb. citron, chopped
1/8 lb. almonds, chopped
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs. Add sugar, flour, soda and spices; mix well. Add citron and almonds. Roll out on floured board and cut with cookie cutter or form.
A whole almond may be placed in middle of cookie.
Bake at 350ºF for 5 to 7 mins.
