2 sticks margarine (not butter) 1 lb. brown sugar 1/2 cup Karo syrup 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. rum flavor 2 boxes (12 oz.) Chex Mix or Crispex 1 can (16 oz.) mixed nuts 1 bag (10 oz.) pretzels
Cook margarine, sugar and syrup. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes only. Add flavorings after removing from heat. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Place in pan and bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
