1 1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 egg yolks
1 cup cooked pumpkin
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp soda
2 1/4 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt

Cream shortening, add egg yolks, pumpkin, milk and soda. Then add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, ginger and nutmeg. Bake 30 minutes at 365.
Frost with seven minute icing using the egg whites.
