3 eggs
1/4 tsp.salt
dash pepper
1 c. half and half
1/2 c. milk
1 jar Hormel bacon pieces
1 unbaked pie crust (Use Pet-Ritz if in a hurry)
6 oz. shredded Swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs. Add salt, pepper, cream and milk. Beat until well blended. Put bacon pieces in bottom of pie shell. Add cream and eggs mixture. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until tests done. Cool 10 - 15 minutes before serving.

This came from a quilting website that I frequently visit. Instead of the Hormel bacon, I usually just fry up a pound of bacon and double the recipe. If you're going to make pie crust, there's no point in making just one. I have also added mushrooms and onions to the mixture. Other additions would also be possible depending on individual preference. It heats up well in the microwave and I would assume it would freeze well.
