3 cups raw broccoli flowerettes
cup shredded sharp cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup red onions, chopped
2 tbsp vinegar
cup sugar
salt and pepper
Optional: 8 ounces elbow noodles, cooked according to package directions.

Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, and crumble.
In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cheese, bacon and onion. Prepare the dressing in a small bowl by whisking together the vinegar, sugar, pepper, salt and mayonnaise. Combine dressing with salad. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
