Chocolate Chip Brownies Recipe

1 12 ounce package chocolate chips
3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (one stick) butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cup nuts

In a saucepan add butter, sugar and water. Melt just to a boil. Pour into a bowl. Add 1/2 of the chocolate chips. Add vanilla. When mixture has cooled slightly, add the eggs. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Add remaining chocolate chips, and nuts if desired.

Bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
