1 large head or 2 bags shredded cabbage
1 bunch green onions chopped
2 bags chicken ramen noodles broken
3 T sugar
3 T rice vinegar
1 t soy sauce
½ C oil
½ C slivered almonds
¼ C sesame seeds
2 T butter



Directions:
Directions:
Combine cabbage and onions in a large bowl. In a small bowl combine sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce and 1 flavor packet from the ramen. Beat with a fork until completely missed and it will thicken a bit. Add to cabbage mix and chill until ready to serve. In a skillet melt the butter on medium to low heat. Sautee almonds, sesame seeds, broken noodles, and remaining flavor packet from noodles, stir until lightly browned through. Thoroughly cool. When ready to serve I set noodles to the side to be added as served. Some people stir in noodles at serving time. Optional: add 1-cup raisins or dried cranberries to cabbage mix.
