2 (28oz) cans pealed tomatoes
1 (15oz) can peeled tomatoes or puree
1/4 cup olive oil
1 large pork chop
1 med onion chopped fine
1 (6oz) can tomatoe paste
1 clove garlic chopped
2 Tbs sugar
1 Tbs basil
1 tsp pepper
Salt to taste
24 meat balls

Directions:
Directions:
Crush undrained tomatoes in a skillet. Rinse can with water add to skillet. Simmer 15 min and stir
Heat 1/4 c olive oil in heavy sauce pan. Add pork,
cook over med heat until browned on both sides.
Stir in onion. Cook several minutes, stir frequently. Add tomatoes mix well. Simmer for 20 min, stiring
occasionally. Stir in paste and 1 3/4 cup water. Saute garlic in olive oil. Add to tomatoe mixture mix
well. Stir in sugar, basil,pepper and salt. ( A splash of red wine can be added 1/4 to 1/2 cup)
Drop in meatballs 1 at a time mix gently in to
sauce Simmer partialy covered 1 1/2 hrs Stir to prevent sauce from scorchoring. (meatballs can be
browned in oven on cookie sheet@ 350 for approx 15min before adding to sauce)
Serve over hot pasta
