Kielbasa and Sauerkraut Recipe

2 lbs carrots
2 lbs. potatoes
2 lbs. kielbasa
2 qts. sauerkraut
1 large onion
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 12 oz can beef broth
thyme, poultry seasoning, dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Cut carrots and potatoes into 1 inch chunks, place in large baking pan. Slice kielbasa into 1/2 inch slices, saute with onions in 1/2 stick butter until browned. Remove from pan and stir into carrots and potatoes.

Sprinkle thyme, poultry seasoning, and dry mustard to taste. Pour beef broth over all.

Drain and rinse sauerkraut thoroughly, squeezing out excess water. Saute sauerkraut in 1 stick butter (in same pan as kielbasa was sauteed) until browned. Spread sauerkraut over top of all.

Bake 1 hour at 350º
