Ingredients: |
Ingredients: Manachotti shells; spinach chopped (frozen); tuna (also can use chicken in the can or salmon) number of can depends on your taste for fish etc.; Monterey jack cheese shredded; horseradish (key ingredient) V8 Juice (That is probably why we all like it. We were raised on V8)

Directions: |
Directions:Cook chopped spinach as directed. If I recall 2-3 pkgs will take care of a box of shells. Drain spinach and tuna (or substitute) from all liquids. Add tuna and spinach with horseraddish (to taste or as I do by smell). Mix completely and stuff shells (be sure to overfill pasta will become larger). Pour V8 to the bottom of baking dish (just enough to cover half of the shells). Sprinkle Monterey jack over the shells. Pour additional V8 to cover ..... repeat second row. Do not sprinkle additional cheese until you pour additional V8 to cover only half the shells. Sprinkle additional cheese and bake for 25 to 35 minutes. You may need to pour additional V8 inorder to get the moisture so the shells cook.

Notes: Yo's message (from the Ohana Site): Actually, the recipe was from an old weight watchers meal. Back in the days when I was trying to lose weight on the Atkins diet (does work I went from 198 to 135lbs). It is very simple and fat free. Back then no one cared about fat free. I was trying to eat healthy.
