2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. corn syrup
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c chopped pecans
1 pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix flour, baking soda and salt. In large bowl with mixer at medium speed beat butter and sugar till fluffy. Slowly beat in syrup, then egg and vanilla. Beat in flour mixture slowly until well blended. Stir in pecans and 1/2 the chocolate chips. Spread evenly in 15 1/2x 10x1 jelly roll pan. Sprinkle rest of chocolate chips on top. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on rack. Cut in squares.
