9 slices white bread
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 1/2 lb hot sausage
4 eggs
2 cups milk
1 tsp dry mustard
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage until crumbly and drain.
Trim crusts off bread and cut into strips, dip lightly in melted butter, and line bottom of casserole.
Spread with sausage, then cheese.
Beat eggs lightly; add milk, mustard, salt and pepper.
Pour this over the mixture and let stand in frig for 24 hours.
Cook at 325 for 45 minutes to and hour. Serves 8-10
