Ingredients:  
Place 1/2 c. chopped walnuts at bottom of pie shell.
In large bowl mix:
3 T. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. salt
Add:
3 c. sliced & peeled apples (Fuji are the best)
1/3 c. caramel sauce
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Toss together
Spoon above mixture into pie shell.
In small mixing bowl combine:
1 c. dry oats
1/4 c. flour
1/2c. sugar
1/2c. brown sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. chopped softened butter

Top apples with oatmeal mixture & pat down. Bake at 425º
for 10 min. then lower temp to 350º and bake 40-45 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
