Pumpkin Bread Recipe

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
1 c. canned pumpkin
1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/3 c. water
1/2 c. raisins

Add sugar to oil, then add eggs, pumpkin, spices sifted with flour, water and raisins. Bake 1 hour at 350. Makes one large loaf or two small loaves.

Pumpkin Dessert Rolls may be baked right in the can. Grease four empty cans with shortening and fill cans 1/2 to 2/3 full using the pumpkin bread recipe. (Use either dates or raisins) Bake 40 minutes at 350. Slice rolls and serve topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
