Now that we're adults, Thanksgiving is my holiday, meaning that it is at my house. My main rule is that everyone serves themselves. I'm not a maid and I'm not your mama. My mom and my in-laws are great at helping out in the kitchen so there's a lot less stress, especially when I stop worrying about whether everything is perfect or not. After dinner, I like deboning the turkey because I find it relaxing and it gives me a moment to myself.
