Ingredients:  
1 lb. lard, room temperature
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
6 cs. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve lard in boiling water.
Add salt and baking powder.
Add flour until just mixed.
Chill dough and roll out as needed.
This should make at least 2 full pies.

I have used this recipe to make pies and freeze them then bake them right from the freezer with wonderful results. The crusts are flaky and tender even though you make the crust backwards!
