6 pears cut in half, cored and peeled
3 teaspoons lemon juice
1/4 cup melted butter
2 1/2 cups corn flakes

Lemon Sauce:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup boiling water

1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and lemon juice. Roll each pear in lemon sugar, then in melted butter, then in the corn flakes. Place in ungreased pan and bake 350º for 20 - 25 minutes. Serve hot with lemon sauce.

Lemon Sauce: (yields approximately 1 1/4 cups sauce)
Mix together:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
Stir into 1 cup of boiling water. Boil and cook 15 minutes stirring until smooth and thickened.

Mix into thickened mixture:
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons butter
