2/3 C. butter flavored shortening
2/3 C. butter, softened
1 C. white sugar
1 C. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 T. vanilla
3 1/2 C all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 C. chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º Mix shortening, butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix in favorite chocolate chips. Scoop Tbsp. size balls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-9 min. until lightly browned. Cool 2-3 min before removing from baking sheet. This recipe can easily be doubled.
