2 1/2 c flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2c sugar
1/2 c unsalted butter
1 large eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 dried cranberries
1 egg white
6 oz. white chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Combine flour, baking powder, salt in medium bowl and mix to blend.
3. In large bowl and using electric mixer, blend sugar, butter, eggs and almond extract until well blended.
4. Mix in flour mixture, dried cranberries and chocolate chips.
5. Divide dough in half using floured hands and shape into two logs each 2 1/2" wide, 9" long and 1" high. Transfer to cookie sheets which has been covered with parchment paper.
6. Using beaten egg white brush on top and sides of each log.
7. Bake until golden brown--about 35 minutes.
8. Cool completely on rack. When cool cut each log diagonally into 1/2" wide slices (use serrated edge knife)
9. Arrange slices cut side down on baking sheet and bake 350 for 10 minutes. Turn over and bake 5 minutes on the other side. Transfer to rack to cool.
