1 C sugar 4 1/2 T cornstarch 4 T cocoa dash of salt 1 tsp vanilla 2 1/2 C milk
Mix dry ingredients in pan. Using a whisk, slowly add milk using low heat. Cook over medium heat stirring frequently as milk will scorch. Cook until thickened. For pie, cool and pour into pre-baked 9 inch shell.
