1 1/2 c. finely diced, cooked turkey
1 c. shredded Swiss or American cheese
1/3 c. finely chopped green onion
2 T. flour
4 eggs
2 c. milk or cream
salt to taste
1/8 tsp. thyme
Pastry for 10-inch pie shell

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. soy oil shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
2 T. sesame seeds, optional
1/2 beaten egg
2 T. water
1 1/2 tsp. vinegar

Prepare pastry as follows: Blend flour, shortening, salt and sesame seeds until crumbly. Beat one whole egg and combine one half the beaten egg with water and vinegar. Stir egg mixture into flour mixture gradually with fork until all flour is moistened. Gather into ball; roll to fit pie plate, ease into plate, trim edges and flute.

Mix turkey, cheese, onion and flour. Spread evenly in pastry-lined pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients by hand. Pour over turkey mixture. Bake in preheated 425 oven for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300 and continue baking until knife inserted near center comes out clean (about 30 minutes). Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
