1 c. milk
2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 c. grated onion
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic salt or juice
2/3 c. dry bread crumbs (2 sl. toasted bread)
1 slightly beaten egg
1 tsp. sage

Sauce for Meat Loaf:

8 tbsp. brown sugar
2/3 c. catsup
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. dry mustard

Directions for Meat Loaf:
Soak bread crumbs in milk. Add meat, egg, and seasonings. Mix well and place in pan either 9 x 9 or 7 x 11, greased. Cover loaf with sauce. Bake in a 350 oven for 1 hour.
Directions for Sauce:
Mix all ingredients and top meat loaf.
