2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup shortening
4 tbsp cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla


Scotch Cake Icing

1 stick margarine
4 tbsp cocoa
6 tbsp milk
1 box confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Bring to a boil the margarine , cocoa and milk. Stir
constantly to keep from heat and add other ingredients.

Start icing 5 min before cake is done. Spread hot cake.

Combine flour and sugar in large bowl
In a saucepan put margarine and shortening
cocoa and water, bring to a boil and then pour into
flour mixture. Mix well. Add other ingredients and mix well.

Bake in greased 11x16 pan at 400 degrees for 30 minutes
