1/2c Sliced Almonds
1 t. Butter/Margarine
3 T. Sugar ( or Splenda)
1/2 Head of Lettuce torn into bite size pieces or use the bagged Romaine
2 Sticks Celery, Sliced
2 Green Onions, Sliced
1 11oz. Can Mandarin, Drained
Dressing:
1/4 c Oil
1 t. Parsley
2 T. Sugar (or Splenda)
2 T. Apple Vinegar
2 Dashes Tabasco Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix almonds, butter/margarine, and sugar (splenda) and cook over low heat until liquefied. Toss lettuce, celery, green onions and mandarin with liquefied ingredients and set aside. Mix oil, parsley, sugar, apple vinegar and tabasco sauce in a jar that you can shake. Toss all ingredients together in a large bowl.
