In Dutch oven combine the following:
5 c. chopped cabbage
1 lb. carrots cut 1 inch pieces
3 c. potatoes peeled and chopped
3 c. water
2 c. diced ham
1/2 chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can garbonzo beans do not add this in yet.

Bring to a boil reduce heat cover and simmer 1 hour
stir in garbonzo beans undrained cover and cook 10-15 min. more

add more water if needed
