Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mrs.Lampe was Grandma and Grandad Mercer's next door neighbor when they lived in Wichita. Joe and Irene I believe were teenagers at the time, and Fleta Dene was a child. Dene told me she remembers they took most of family pictures on Mrs. Lampe's porch because she had a wrap around porch and it was a really neat place for pictures. Mrs Lampe must of been a special person to Mom as I remember her speaking of her as I was growing up. This recipe had to come about in the 1940's or earlier. This was during hard times and 1 dish dinners were first beginning to appear on dinner tables everywhere.
