2 POUNDS LEAN GROUND HAMBURGER
1,16 OZ CAN CHOPPED TOMATOES
6 OZ. TOMATO JUICE
1/2 CUP FRESH STRING BEANS
1 GREEN PEPPER, CHOPPED
1 CUP CELERY, CHOPPED
USE GREEN TOPS FROM CELERY
SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE
2 CLOVES OF GARLIC
2 TEASPOON SOY SAUCE
1 BAY LEAF
1/2 TEASPOON PAPRIKA
1/2 TEASPOON THYME
1/2 CUP PEARL BARLEY

-BROWN MEAT
- PUT MEAT IN POT AND ADD ALL OTHER INGREDIENTS
- ADD 7 CUPS OF WATER
- BRING TO A BOIL AND LET SIMMER FOR 1 HOUR
- THEN ADD CARROTS WAIT 10 MINUTES
- THEN ADD POTATOES WAIT FOR 20 MINUTES
