6 cups flour, sifted
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cream of tarter
3 cups of raisins
3 cups buttermilk
2 sticks margarine
1/2 box caraway seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Cut in 2 sticks of butter or margarine, 3 cups of raisins and 1/2 box of caraway seeds into mixture. Then take 3 cups of buttermilk and mix through with hands until smooth.

Sprinkle flour on table and hands and knead mixture for 1/2 minute. Place in 2 greased 9" cake pans and bake at 350 for 1 hour. If you prefer you can use 3 bread pans instead.
