1/2 c butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c powdered sugar
1 c flour
2 eggs
1 c sugar
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp lemon juice
grated rind of 1/2 lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and powdered sugar. Add 1 cup flour. Spread into 8x8 pan and bake at 325 for 15-20 minutes. Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, flour, lemon juice and lemon rind. Mix well and pour over hot crust. Bake for an additional 18-25 minutes at 325. Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool slightly before cutting. This recipe can be doubled and baked in 9x13 pan.
