2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 lb. German sweet chocolate
3 tbsp. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until stiff with salt, cream of tartar and sugar. Add pecans and vanilla. Spread in pie pan. Bake in slow over 300 for about 45 to 50 minutes. Prepare chocolate filling by melting chocolate in hot water. Add vanilla. Fold in whipping cream.
