1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. white syrup
3 tbsp. butter
1 lb. raw peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine and set aside soda, 1 tsp. water and vanilla. Cook sugar, 1 c. water and white syrup over medium heat stirring occasionally to 240 on candy thermometer. Stir in butter and peanuts and cook to 300, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in soda mixture. Pour each half onto a buttered cookie sheet and spread. Cool, break into pieces.
