2 c. sugar 3/4 c. light corn syrup 1/3 c. boiling water 1/4 tsp. flavoring Drop coloring
Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Stir until dissolved. Cook to hard crack stage (300º). Remove from heat and add flavoring and coloring. Pour on buttered cookie sheet. Break into pieces when cool. Be careful. Do not burn yourself. Do not put hot candy thermometer into cold water.
