This recipe for Brazilian Limeade, by Kimberly Panter, is from Logan 10th Ward,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 Lime (the smoother the rind the juicier the lime) 2-3 T. Sweetened Condensed Milk 3 C. Water 1/2-3/4 C. Sugar
Clean the lime and cut the ends off. then slice the lime into 8 pieces. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until creamy, but not too long, blending the rind too much makes the drink sour. Strain off the rind and serve with ice.
