Dissolve:
1/2 Cup of Lukewarm Water
1 Pkg. of Yeast
1 Tbsp. of Sugar

Then Mix together:
1 1/2 Cup of Scaled Milk
1 Cup of Flour
When lukewarm add yeast mixture.

Mix together:
5 Egg Yolks
1 1/4 Cup of Sugar
1/2 lb. of Melted Butter
1/2 Tsp of Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Add Yeast-Flour Mixture and 4 cups of sifted flour mixing after each cup. If to thin you can add some more flour.
Let Rise of 2 1/2 - 3 Hours

Butter Pans, line with parchment paper. Half fill the pans and let rise again for 1/2 hour.

Bake at 425º for 15 mins. then reduce to 325º for 1- 1 1/2 hours

Note: Raisins or Blanched slivered almonds may be added to mixture.
