1 lb. Scallops 3/4 Cup Fine Bread Crumbs 2 Tbsp. of Water Salt & Pepper to Taste 1/2 Cup of Melted Shortening
Wipe scallops dry and season with salt and pepper. Beat egg and water together. Dip scallops in egg and them place in crumbs, then dip in melted shortening. Place in shallow pan. Bake at 450º for 20 mins.
