1 cup Crisco
1 cup vegetable oil
1 pound butter
6 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 oranges - rind and juice
1/2 teaspoons ground cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon
6 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups flour
Demitasse brandy

Directions:
Directions:
Beat crisco, butter and oil then add sugar. Beat eggs separately and add to sugar/butter mix. Add juice and brandy to mixture and blend well. Mix dry ingredients together including rind. With wooden spoon, add dry to wet, adding more flour if needed to achieve cookie dough consistency (soft). Shape into ovals and bake until golden. 350* 30-35 minutes.
