1 whole octopus
3 bay leaves
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 lemon
oregano and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil whole octopus for 40-60 minutes with bay leaves. Discard water. Remove blackened skin and cut octopus to separate legs and place of cookie sheet or in casserole dish with oil and vinegar.
Bake for 1 hour at 350*, keeping tender.
Cut into bite-size portions and serve, adding more oil, vinegar and lemon to taste.
