16 leaves Boston Bib or Butter lettuce
1 lb. ground beef (see notes for substitutions)
1. tbsp. cooking oil
1 large onion - chopped
2 cloves garlic - minced
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. hoisin sauce
2. tsp. pickled ginger - minced
1. tbsp. rice wine vinegar
1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts - drained and chopped
1 bunch green onions - chopped
1 tsp. dark sesame oil
* asian chili pepper sauce - optional (for heat)

Directions:
Directions:
1. rinse lettuce leaves - leave whole and pat dry
2. brown beef in cooking oil and drain - then set aside
3. cook onions in same pan
4. add garlic, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ginger, water chestnuts, gr. onions and sesame oil - cook for 2 minutes
5. add meat back to pan and toss to coat
6. serve meat along side lettuce and allow each person to make their own wrap
