1 c. soft butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
6 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sifted all purpose flour
1/2 TSR. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt half of the butter in a saucepan with the chocolate and cool to room temperature. Put the other half cup of butter in a mixing bowl and add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix until light and fluffy. Add cooled chocolate mixture slowly--stirring constantly. Add flour and salt mixing well. Pour into an 9 x 13 pan and bake in a 350 degree F oven. Check after 30 minutes depending on the size of the pan.

These brownies are VERY rich so I cut them in very small pieces. These can be made GLUTEN-FREE by using Pamela's Pancake and Baking Mix for the flour. The recipe comes from Annemarie's Personal Cookbook by Annemarie
