2 c. applesauce (unsweetened works)
2 eggs
½ c. oil
2 c. flour
1 ½ c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 ½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
¾ c. chocolate chips
½ c. chopped pecans or other nuts
2 tbsp. sugar

Beat together applesauce, eggs and oil. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle on top of the batter chocolate chips, nuts and 2 tbsp. sugar. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
