1 lb ground hamburger
1 lb sausage (your choice) or Italian
1/2 lb bacon chopped
1 cup dried pinto beans (or 1-2 canned pinto beans)
1 cup dried kidney beans (or 1 can kidney beans)
*if you use cans of beans, you can also use a can or two of Ranch Style beans.
2 packages Chili seasoning
1 large onion (chopped)
1/2 to 1 bell pepper (chopped)
1 tsp minced garlic
1 qt chopped tomatoes
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 small can chopped green chilis
1/2 - 1 cup mushrooms
1/4 cup brown sugar
Salt
Pepper
Ground Red Pepper
Mrs Dash Seasoning
Tony's Seasoning
*Use seasoning to your taste, and add or subtract as you like. You may also use one less chili seasoning pack if you like it a little more mild, and take out the green chilis.

If using dried beans: Soak beans overnight together, then cook for a couple hours on med/high (boiling gently) check and if almost tender you may add all chili ingredients.
If using canned beans: Place all ingredients except onions and bell peppers which should be sauted in butter before adding to mixture.
Cook on low all day/ for a few hours/ or for a shorter time if you need it now! May also be placed in crockpot.
