4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/3 c. white wine
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
4-6 slices Swiss cheese
3/4 c. French fried onions
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chicken breasts in a single layer in a casserole dish or baking pan. Sprinkle mushrooms over chicken evenly. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour wine around chicken, cover with foil, and bake for 20-30minutes, until chicken is almost done. Remove from oven, place a slice of cheese over each chicken breast, and sprinkle onions over all. Return to oven and bake uncovered until cheese is melted and chicken is done.

This recipe can be made in a glass dish in the microwave, as well. Cooking time will depend upon the wattage of your oven.
