12 medium onions sliced 1/2 c. salt 25 medium cucumbers sliced 4 c. vinegar 3 c. sugar 1 tsp. tumeric 2 tsp. celery seeds 2 tsp. mustard seeds
Sprinkle salt over onions and set aside for 1 hour. Combine vinegar, sugar, tumeric, celery seed, and mustard seed and bring to a boil. Drain the onions and put them into the brine. Boil for 3 minutes. Add the cucumbers and boil for 3 minutes.
