1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup oil dash salt 1 tsp. vanilla 6 cups oatmeal 1 cup wheat germ 1 cup oat bran 1/4 cup ground flax seed 1 cup coconut (optional) 1 cup raisins (optional) 1 cup chopped nuts
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix wet ingredients in a small bowl and then pour over the dry. Stir well. Spread granola in two jelly roll or 13 X 9 baking pans. Toast at 350º for 15 minutes. Stir. Turn oven down to 250º and toast 15 minutes. Stir. Toast 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Store in airtight container.
